Important Financial Aid Information

2023-2024 Academic Year

Muhlenberg College no longer requires the CSS Profile for need-based aid. Students who wish to be considered for need-based financial assistance must complete the FAFSA and the Muhlenberg Scholarship and Aid Application.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available on October 1st. Packaging is based on Prior-Prior Year tax information. The 2023-24 FAFSA should be completed using 2021 tax information.  Please utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to transfer your tax information directly from the IRS to your FAFSA.

  • 94.99% of traditional students are receiving Muhlenberg College grant / scholarship for the academic year.
  • The average gift aid for a traditional student is $37,118
  • The average financial aid package (including student loans and student employment) for a traditional student is $41,926
